When I See You…

on the train; I want to grab your hand to

say that you are braver than you believe

on any given day.

That you have what it takes to weather

any amount of rain.                                                                                         

That no matter how much longer it

might take you to reach your dream-

always remember you’re stronger than

you seem.

That walking your own path is hard.

In the midst of all of the doubt you

will receive just know you have more

smarts than you think.

When I see you on the train

I want to grab your hand to

remind you that as you learn

and grow; never forget that this

world loves you more than you’ll

ever know!
